i told my mom about tyler a couple of nights ago, and she really surprised me with her response. okay first off, i met him at republic a few weeks ago and he's been trying to umm, well you know. anyway, so far all i can say is i definitely like him as a friend, and the added plus is tt he makes me feel really pampered. i actually wouldn't mind going out with him to try it out. BUT.... oh man, there's a HUGE 'but' here.

he has 2 broken teeth. it happened two yrs ago and was from those underground fighting rings where u get money if u win. apparently someone stomped on his face. ouch. and it isnt those normal broken or chip tooth either. it looks REALLY horrible. shit, i feel so shallow for being unable to get past it. his looks are okay, not ugly, not super good looking, your typical white guy, but the teeth... omfg. so i was telling my mom abt him and stuff. actually, if i can tell my mom abt a guy that i'm not with, it means i've more or less written him off. i mean, tt incident was 2 yrs ago, if he wanted to fix it, it'd be done by now.

then my mom surprised me by saying, "if you really like him and can tell he's a good guy, i wouldnt mind lending him the money to fix his teeth if that's the only thing that's stopping you cos he probably doesnt have the means to do it." WHATTTTTTTT! i nearly tripped when i heard it (cos i was pacing arnd). fixing one broken teeth costs abt $2200. he has 2 broken!

i totally cant believe my mom offered to do that! okay for one, she has always been against me dating. two, it's a guy she barely knows! so what if i know him! i dont know him that well! i'm not going to lend him such a big sum of my mom's money! but since she okay-ed this whole situation, i dont know if i shld continue going out with him.

okay main point is, my mom really surprised me. she said she doesnt mind as long as i really love him and will be happy (okay, way too soon for that to happen). man, i feel so loved by my mom! :D
