man, i dont get why so many people are having relationship problems. must be the time of the year or something -.- makes me so glad im not in a relationship. but i really feel sad for my friends. sigh. okay moving on to my fun-filled days!

alright, let's start with Canada Day, July 1st. i went to the The Forks (same place i got my tarot card reading) to watch the fireworks. we got there around 7pm and just sat in one of the patios to chill since we had till 11pm when the fireworks are due to go off. man, it was PACKED. the amount of ppl was crazy and the most dreadful thing: hellish queues outside the toilets. okay anyway here are just some pics from that day. nothing significant cos we didnt take any pics of fireworks. i mean, why bother? just watching it is enough. freaking 10+pm! the only starts to set at arnd 10+, but starts rising arnd 4am. so believe me when i say i have had a loooooong day. oh, and it should shed light on why sandra bullock and ryan reynolds goes to sleep when the sun is still up in the movie: The Proposal. cos in Alaska, they are experiencing the same damn thing. (this also means i dont get much sun in the other half of the year.)

went to watch The Proposal on Thurs night. it's a MUST-SEE MOVIE! i think it's absolutely great, even though they can improve the ending a little. kinda abrupt but still good! i really recommend everyone to watch it. i have soooo many more movies i wanna watch. like the one with gerard butler, taking of pelham 123, ice age, sister's keeper etc! oh oh oh, and if you guys decide to watch Whiteout when it comes out, here's a fun (and totally useless) fact for you! it was filmed in montreal and winnipeg!

okay anyway, went clubbing agn on friday (i.e last night) at Whiskey Dix. IT SUCKED. the decoration and theme of the club is those western cowboy things which looks pretty good, and they have a really awesome patio out for smokers. oh dont worry, i didnt drink much this time. just a gin and tonic, plus a dirty hooker. BUT, the music was awful. i cant get high on it even though there was one or two good songs to dance to, the other songs killed the mood. esp when the live band went up on stage. sa and i left about then to join the others at hkh where the others were drinking. anyway, here's a pic of me and sa!




and then there was bbq today. havent done it in a long long long time. when was the last time?? oh yea, the class chalet in Nov '07 =.=
