omg. just when the weather was oh-so awesome... it became hell overnight >.< started with the rain on thursday morning. sooooo cold! abt 4 degrees. the rest of the day didnt get any better. then this morning, there were snow flurries!! omg! in the middle of may!!! IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE SUMMER! it was truly a wtf moment for me to moment i stepped outside the dorm.

okay anyway, time to talk abt the new sch term. taking soc from 8.30 to 10.30, then psy from 10.45 to 12.30pm. i'm so glad i chose the 8.30 timeslot for soc (cos i could actually take psy first, then soc). my soc prof is the ONLY reason i don't doze off in a 8.30am class. hell, my psy prof is so boring that i doze off even tho i was wide awake after coming out of soc lesson. both are female btw.

Professor Kandrack (soc prof) is so cheeky in class, and a pretty stubborn feminist. she's totally fun and while she does sometimes rant abt (interesting) stuff until they're out of point, she will still go back to the topic pretty soon. the only thing is that she is a technology-idiot (means no powerpoint slides) and hardly uses the board. its just her mouth and your hands - to copy notes. thankfully she goes super slow on impt points.

Professor Leboe (psy prof) isnt actually that bad, just that her lect's are a bit dry. she does have powerpoint slides and short videoclips, which i always do my utmost to watch since they are actually pretty cool. some of the verbal examples she gives are pretty good too. i just cant stay awake dammit. oh and did i mention she brings her 9 yr old daughter to class and talks abt sex in front of her? (well she has to since it's relevant to the point she's teaching, but still..)


i've become more active lately. maybe it's because of the early hrs i need to get ready for class, i keep much more regular sleeping hours. signed up for a recreation course at the frank kennedy centre and its so hard! but i'm going to continue and excel haha. then i started going to the gym too. well, technically its a gym, but it's really 5 machines in a room in the basement of my dorm. but it's still good. the best part, no one goes there so i have it all to myself. :D
