just registered for my summer courses. pretty heavy so i hope i wont drop any of them. at the start of Fall term, i can apply for admission into faculty of arts already ^^ if everything goes according to plan, i'll probably choose political studies as my major.
previously i was doing some heavy debating of pol studies versus psychology. pol studies is quite draining, esp now when all they talk abt is canada govt which i know peanuts about. but, more career opportunities in the future so tt's why im still sticking to this option. psychology was on my mind cos i think its easy-peasy scoring good grades. all u have to do is read and rmbr. plus all their tests are mcq. no essays at all.
anyway summer will be a total social science summer for me. i registered for three 6 credits courses in intro to sociology, intro to psychology and intro to international relations.
and now i learnt that i can't say "it'll snow in summer if that's true" to express disbelief. why? cos some ppl told me that apparently 3 years ago in winnipeg, the temperature suddenly plummeted to 0 degrees in june and it snowed. =.=" maybe one day it'll snow in singapore too!
anyway right now, the more pressing news on weather is flooding. my sch is located right beside Red River, and it is close to overflowing the banks.

see? #15 Tache Hall (residence) and #13 Pembina Hall (canteen) is circled in red. and red river beside it. i always wondered when will the meander straighten like we learnt in geography. *gasp* that means there'll be no more UoM! :D
