i just found out two of my colleagues were fired today. and the reason was that they weren't meeting requirements? i seriously dont believe it. if there was someone not meeting requrements, it'd be ME.

and another guy has just handed in his resignation cos one of the supervisors gave him crap last tuesday. i totally get what he feels man. jeff and busayo are mean supervisors. they pressure and pressure you, and then give u some crap. i feel like quiting every sunday. know why? cos jeff is one of the supervsors. he's not only NOT the inspiring type, he depresses me.

i really dont wanna lay the blame on him, cos i know im not exactly the best conversationalist around (that's an understatement), but seriously. i just started work for like half an hr yesterday and then he came by to 'semi-scold' me. i was so wtf. if i did anything wrong, i'll listen. but hell, the shift barely started dude. after tt i really just cant be bothered to put any effort in it. he said something that was the turning point in my whole attitude:

"as a supervisor, my raise is dependent on your performance."

so you're just out to get ur raise huh, buddy.

i dont know if it's evident, but i GET no pledges every sunday. and so far, i've raised over $1k from the alumni already, and that's only from mondays. only paymaan and shuiab are around as supervisors then. of course, i'm not as good as phil or ben who started the same time as me but raised like $7k over. btw, ben is the one quitting. he's doing so well and they still gave him crap? what the hell are they thinking!

and being the usual me today, i slipped and fell on the way home from work. twice! altho my pride is more bruised than my butt, my knee still hurts ):
