my mom called me yesterday and we had a nice long chat (:

she did the same nagging, asking me to curb my habit of eating tons of chocolates and all sweet stuff haha. anyway she told me something interesting about my relatives (whom i've nvr met).

she has an older cousin who has a wonderful marriage. they are always referred to as the 金童玉女. even till now, when she's approaching 60, her husband still loves her dearly. he even gave her one of his kidneys when hers failed last year. and now a year later, all's well with no tissue rejection (:

how sweet is that. but i was pretty shocked to hear how they met. apparently, her husband was married when she met him, and still she waited patiently for his divorce. i cant imagine anyone willing to take that big of a risk. so i guess that i kinda admire them.

yes, there's a 'but' involved. but i dont know what comes after the 'but'. guess i just can't put it to words.
