yes, i'm safe and sound at manitoba right now! but in a cinch. my luggage is gone!!

okay it's not as bad as it sounds lol. apparently, the plane i took from vancouver to winnipeg, conveniently left most of the passengers' luggage in vancouver for the NEXT plane flying to winnipeg to carry. so, right now, i have no clothes/necessities. the good thing is, my brother took me in to his place so i dont have to be alone in my room stinking. (yes stinking, cos i believe i spent the last few 20 odd hours on a plane/in airport). i just woke up from a nap anyway.

checked in to my room today and surprise surprise, i have a room mate... just so you know, i requested a single room. anyway, her name is maria and i havent met her yet. but our names are pasted on the room door lol.

and where is my room located? within the staircase area (only two rooms are there). really weird i tell you. i'll upload some pics when i get arnd to it. and directly opposite my room, so far i met one of the occupants. his name is kapoorv. since i havent asked him where's he's from, i'm guessing india. let's just say, he's quite a friendly guy. i met him for only a good few minutes but the impresion he gave me was: over-enthusiast.

and then my brother took me out for lunch at some hong kong styled cafe. foods, not that good but not that bad either. and he introduced to some of his hong kong friends. wait, let me try to see if i rmbr. there's... justin, wesley (i forgot his face oh man), david, dickson, chris and terry with his wife and baby.

so far that's all! orientation starts on the 2nd sept.. shld i go at all?
