i just had my first lesson, Religion 1320, today which ended 11.15am (: it was.. pretty nice. of course, it's just a course introduction since its the first lesson. and the professer suck at drawing! haha. he was telling some hindu fable abt the blind men and the elephant (point of story is that there are many different ways to look at things). his elephant ended up looking... not like an elephant lol. my first test for this course is on October 16th!
my next class is at 6pm! Asian Studies 1770, which is just essentially jap language. since i learnt a little when i was in sec 3, i chose this course cos i figured it'd be easier to pass haha. but now i realised, i kinda forgot almost everything >.<
was window shopping in the bookstore for my textbooks just now after lesson. and woah, are they ex. hmm. rmbr our southeast asian history book? that kinda thickness (and that kinda cheap binding) costs over 50 canadian dollars! of course, there's the disclaimer that abt 40 bucks of it is due to copyright royalties. and that isnt the only book i have to buy.
studying is expensive.
