yes! this will be the FIRST weekend this year, that i have internet connection!!! ok big deal... now, let me warn u, this is most probably gonna be a pretty long entry. so set some chips down and enjoy, or just try not to fall asleep. lets start with the day right after i got off the plane.

called jacq the moment i landed. no idea why., just wanted to disturb her and shun bian get updated on sch stuff haha. it was like past midnight. then she told me gayne was online so i called gayne too. told me abt some of the upcoming schedules for orientation. just wondering ah, why did sch started on the 3rd this year? thought it normally starts on the 2nd? till now no one told me why.. anyway somehow i was too keyed up to sleep that night.. wonder why. cnat be jet lag, the flight was only near 4hrs long. in the end, rewatched charmed season 3 till like 5am. my season 8 is missing.. cant rmbr where it went, or if someone didnt return it.

met up with janice and weikiat on 2nd jan before sch started. they were just gonna pass me some orientation stuff then study (without me of course). sch turned out to be closed so we met up in hg mall. in the end, we spent the whole time just chatting, then we went to play POOOOL. haha. till like 6+. had fun.

hmm then the next thing would be orientation. nth much i can write abt it that others havent. just want to say the 3rd day totally suck in my opinion. first someone broke down, then i did. stress accumulated over 3 days plus bad situations makes VERY emo councillors. oh yes, play pool agn on thurs, after the 2nd day of orientation with kang li shan, janice, jon chia, ced and maomao. quite fun.

then went to vanessa's hse on sat. it was quite fun. love the swings! weeeeee =) before that, played pool again with some councillors. unfortunately, i was the only girl there coz kang lishan pangseh me. hmph! haha no girl, didnt hold that against u.

oh yes, before pool, watched Night at the Museum. seriously, i was so disappointed, it ok funny at some parts, but oso kinda boring. thought it would be really great. oh well. to each her own. ah yes!! i seriously recommend curse of the Golden Flower (tho alf kinda hates it) the cinematics effects were superb!!! love the play of colours. ok, basically, i love Zhang YiMou films. =)

lessons started for us on mon. yes, even after all my pool-chionging streak, i did ALL my hw. yes, i did all my hist hw seriously and im proud of that. even if it means more dark circles and eye bags. tho i have to say, i did 1/3 of hist in hk already lol.

went to play poooool agn on tues. to the singapore shopping centre in ps with eugene, da wei, samuel, jon and ced. oh gosh, sam pro la. never expected he's so good. but somehow, whenever he plays with me, he always accidentally hit the black ball in, so i'll win by default. =) this happened on thurs too. yes, i played pool agn. haha.

guess this makes it 5 times that i have played pool in 2 weeks.

ok from here on, i gonna jump arnd the timeline. cant really rmbr wad happened when.

today mr tan, econs tutor, said he actually was kinda puzzled. it seems that he heard ALOT of negatice comments abt my class (which i think is totally true) but he claims that my class is quite obedient and everyone did their tut prep. LOL. couldnt stop laughing to myself. well, i think no one other than those of 2A01 will really know wad went on. truly comical.

it was during one of the hist tutorials this week that mr yew taught us how to differentiate between cynicism and skeptism, and how impt it is for hist students to be skeptical, but never cynical. after he listed all his examples and how we SHOULD react, i realised hat i was really much more cynical than i thought. its like, my every knee jerk response to his statements were those along the lines of "yeah rite" and "as if". gosh, i agree with mr yew that its a bad thing if one becomes too cynical and jaded, but i really cannot live without it. it would be like being the only white sheep among the big black wolves.

oh yes, mr yew also gave the analogy of A lvls as the big tiger. u can nvr outrun the tiger (means we can nvr score full marks) but if there were 2 ppl runing from the tiger, u just have to outrun the other person. kinda true. then jon chia used the same analogy for his pw lol. u just have to a little more hardworking than the last one.

CCA day on wed kinda suck. i was talking non stop for 2 whole hours, most of the time shouting to compete with the noise level. ahh, the strain on my throat. think i scared away the interns. but do i look like i care? hell no. we have the stupid quota of 100. bleh. today was the first meeting with interns. abt 30 didnt turn up? but those in welco seems ok. one girl really caught my eye. siting or something. seems like a natural born leader.

oh well, will stop here. hope u guys are still alive =)
