i cant believe we are treated this way. sure, respect has to be earned. but dont we deserve at least a little basic respect as human beings? its like SC doesnt stand for Student Council anymore, but Slave Club. if the teachers dun respect us, forget abt asking the students to do it either. they are all saying how much responsibility we have and how we are to be initiative. such hypocrisy. they would be damn glad to be so dictatorial, expecting us to obey every command. when they say jump, we're supposed to ask how high.

the construction work for the council room has started over the weekends. but we were not told of it. nor were we informed of the reason. today, the msg passed by word of mouth was that we are to move out of the council room by tmr, and they're are giving it to the chinese zither club and others. WTF?!

First of all, the councillors were not consulted. Of coz, im not saying we are big shots or anything. but the room belongs to us, in a sense, shldn't we have a say? Are we just the underdogs for teachers? run for them, deal with the students for them, be their verbal punching bag for their own mistakes?? so they good la. renovate the room already, told the other ccas tt they can use it, then tell us?! the ones who are currently in charge of the room?! and dont give me no shit abt already trying to fighting for us. we do not settle for an occasional pat on the head.

Secondly, the room is special to us. its not just any other room. it's filled with the memories of the previous batches of councillors. it's like an identity, we belong there. futhermore, its a legacy, a heritage, there's a history we hope to pass down to the 20th Student Council.

seriously, the 18th are backing us up on this. if we are not given a sound and BELIEVABLE reasoning. i think we can just throw 38 badges in their faces. see how they're gonna do the things they rely on us for so much.
