Will people ever wonder
What's beneath my blunders
Do they just judge looks
And deem me a crook
How can friends abandon
Listening to hearsay at random
Untruths laced with malice are spread
As thoughtlessly as eating bread
Do i seem so jaded and hardened
That i would not care for these burdens
Promises once made with zeal
No longer holds any appeal
Those who were once buddies
Have turned the bonds muddy
I had so trusted you
Proving myself to be such a fool
